Garage to bar & office conversion in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

The AMPM team recently worked on a garage conversion in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We worked to a specific set of customer requirements to help them achieve a lifelong dream of having their own home office and bar at the property.

Customer requirements

The customer was recommended to us by a previous customer who had explained how the AMPM team undertook projects of this nature by helping to utilise unused space at a property. They were going to require a multi skilled joiner and a design team the required ideas and taste to make the most of the unused garage.

How we undertook the project

Upon analysis of the project, we established that there was a decent amount of space available, but it simply was not currently being used particularly well.

We started by tanking the single brick garage, to make it watertight and prevent any potential damp or wood rot in the future. We then timber framed and insulated the garage. We then opened up the rear with patio doors for extra light. And finally maintained a storage area at the front of the space with a rolling shutter garage.

Final results

The work undertaken by the AMPM team has not only made use of a previously unused space, but also added extra value to the property. The customer is delighted to now be able to work from home during the week and entertain at weekends, cheers!
