The AMPM team recently asked to work on a damp proofing project in Bolsover during a property renovation.

The property was a mid terraced property showing rising damp on both the external and party walls and concrete flooring. Drilled and injected joints with damp proofing cream, fixed plastic membrane and dot and dabbed and plastered the walls with full decoration. Flooring had epoxy resin applied and a floor levelling compound

The customer's requirements were clear from the beginning. They wanted a full design and build of her father's property, which she grew up in. The goal was to modernise the property, make better use of space, and improve energy efficiency. To achieve this, we conducted a thorough design analysis with the customer. We discussed her preferences, what she liked about the property, and the desired design and feel for the renovated property.

Once the design was finalised, we began the renovation process by stripping the property 'back to brick'. This allowed us to have a blank canvas to work with and completely transform every aspect of the property. The result was a dream property that the customer could truly call home.

The outcome of the project exceeded expectations. The AMPM team's work not only maximised the use of space but also significantly improved energy efficiency. The property now reflects the customer's personal taste while still holding sentimental value as her childhood home. The customer is thrilled with the final results, as the property now aligns perfectly with her vision.

The AMPM team recently asked to work on full property renovation in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

The customer was recommended to us by a previous customer who advised about the capabilities of the AMPM team to complete full property renovations of this nature. The customer was looking for a full design and build of her father’s property that  she grew up in. She was looking for a team who could help to modernise the property and make better use of space and become more energy efficient.

We started by undertaking a full design analysis with the customer to establish what she liked about the property at present, any elements that she wanted to keep and finally what kind of design and feel she wanted the renovated property to have.

Upon signing off on a design for the renovation, we went about stripping the property ‘back to brick’ allowing us a blank canvas to completely renovate every element of the property, giving the customer the dream property that she already called home!

The work undertaken by the AMPM team has not only made better use of space, but also made the property more energy efficient and added extra value to the property. The customer is delighted to now have a house that is more in-keeping with her own personal taste but still holds a sentimental value from it being her childhood home.

Re-roofing and structural work in Stanfree, Derbyshire

We recently undertook a renovation project for a customer in Stanfree, Derbyshire who was looking for some structural work to be completed on the property and some re-roofing to finish the project.

The customer was recommended to us by a previous customer who had explained how the AMPM team undertook projects of this nature and adopted a meticulous approach when working with roofs. They required a roofer and multi trade skilled operatives who could put their hands to most jobs whilst maintaining high standards.

Upon analysis of the project, we established that there was significant structural damage to the property that needed addressing. We went ‘back to brick’ and started a fresh to repair all the structural faults within the house.

Upon further inspection it became clear that all the lintels above the windows also needed to be replaced to ensure the structural integrity of the property for years to come. Finally, after completing the structural repairs and the other internal renovations requested by the customer we were able to finish the project by re-roofing the property.

The work undertaken by the AMPM team has not only secured the structural integrity of the property and its roof, but also increased the energy efficiency of the home and aesthetically improved the overall look and feel of the property.

Garage to bar & office conversion in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

The AMPM team recently worked on a garage conversion in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We worked to a specific set of customer requirements to help them achieve a lifelong dream of having their own home office and bar at the property.

The customer was recommended to us by a previous customer who had explained how the AMPM team undertook projects of this nature by helping to utilise unused space at a property. They were going to require a multi skilled joiner and a design team the required ideas and taste to make the most of the unused garage.

Upon analysis of the project, we established that there was a decent amount of space available, but it simply was not currently being used particularly well.

We started by tanking the single brick garage, to make it watertight and prevent any potential damp or wood rot in the future. We then timber framed and insulated the garage. We then opened up the rear with patio doors for extra light. And finally maintained a storage area at the front of the space with a rolling shutter garage.

The work undertaken by the AMPM team has not only made use of a previously unused space, but also added extra value to the property. The customer is delighted to now be able to work from home during the week and entertain at weekends, cheers!
